You are such an important part of this book prelaunch and I so appreciate you being part of the journey with me.
Once thing that I’ve learned along the way is that reviews aren’t something that just happen on their own. Like, when was the last time you went out of your way to leave a positive review for something on Amazon or Yelp or TripAdvisor?
And yet… how often do you read the reviews that others write to inform a buying decision?
The world is a better place because of helpful reviews and yet so few of us write them.
One thing I’ve been doing as I’ve realized this is taken the time to write thoughtful reviews for fellow author’s books or for products I’ve bought online.
Especially now that I’ve experienced the joy in seeing each and every review come in. Because, yes, I read the reviews. And they are so supportive, and validating, and encouraging.
The whole book publishing process can be lonely along the way. Most readers want to see a “finished product” and aren’t as interested in the messier first drafts. And that’s okay.
To have a “done” manuscript in hand now, and with folks asking to read it, and sharing such impactful reviews… It’s been great.
