Action Plan Essentials: Pick, Plan, Execute

Action Plan Essentials

Stuck isn’t a strategy.

An action plan is.

Here’s the one I use to turn drift into momentum, fast.

From Your Business Growth Playbook: Gross Revenue = F × A × Q.

Your action plan decides which lever you’ll pull next and how.

Step 1: Pick your Freedom Metric (this quarter only).

One number that actually matters: monthly owner pay, cash buffer days, or net profit %.

Step 2: Diagnose the bottleneck across the three levers.

Choose one Primary Lever (plus an optional support lever) for the next 90 days.

Step 3: Choose 1–3 proven plays (by lever).

Each of the three core sections in the book dives deep into the practical plays you can implement right now in your business. Pick what you can implement.

Step 4: Give the quarter a 90-Day Theme.

Examples: “From Promo-Heavy to Price-Strong,” “Install Continuity.”

Step 5: Work in two-week sprints.

Each sprint ships one finished deliverable: “launch continuity page,” “roll out premium bundle,” “activate partner pilot.”

Step 6: Track with a simple weekly scorecard.

Leading indicators: continuity trial starts, average order value, qualified partner intros, referral invites sent.

Assign owners, put it on the calendar, write kill criteria + a one-paragraph pre-mortem so you adjust early (no “zombie” projects).

Step 7: Keep the cadence tight.

15-minute weekly review: update scorecard → unblock → commit the next sprint.

No slide decks. Ship, learn, adjust.

🧠 Bottom Line

You don’t need 47 initiatives. You need one lever, a few high-leverage plays, and a cadence that keeps promises.

Action beats anxiety. Pick your lever, choose your plays, set your cadence… and go.

Which lever are you leaning toward for the next 90 days? F, A, or Q?
